Your adventure kicks off with a scenic flight to the Kogatende airstrip, nestled in the heart of the northern Serengeti. Most flights arrive in the early part of the day, where your personal driver-guide will be waiting to welcome you right at the airstrip. After a short transfer to your tented lodge, you’ll settle into your new wilderness home, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, and take a moment to unwind and absorb the serenity around you. Then it’s time for your first game drive cameras ready, safari mode on! The adventure begins immediately. From July to September, this region is transformed into a live arena for the Great Migration. Massive herds of wildebeest and zebras risk everything to cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures often pursued by hungry predators lurking nearby. You'll explore the landscape in open-sided safari vehicles, offering panoramic views and a true sense of immersion, especially during thrilling moments like river crossings or big cat encounters.
